INDOOR GAMES

(CHESS AND RUBIK’S CUBE COMPETITION)

Dear Students,

We are pleased to announce that the annual Indoor Games Competition will be held on 18/04/2024. This event aims to foster friendly competition, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship among our students. They have to bring their own equipment. They have to take part in only one game.

Details of the competition:

• Chess

• Rubik’s cube

Venue: Respected classroom

Eligibility: All students from classes 3 to 5 are eligible to participate.

Registration: Interested students must register their names with their respective class teachers by 12/04/2024. No late registrations will be accepted.

Competition Rules:

• Chess:

1. Each participant will have 30 minutes per game.
2. The Swiss system will be followed for pairings.
3. Standard chess rules will apply.

• Rubik’s cube: 

1. Cube must be fully solved.

The following criteria will be considered for evaluation:

1. a) Chess:

1. Strategy and decision-making
2. Knowledge of chess rules
3. Sportsmanship

Dress Code:

All the students are expected to be in school sports uniform during the competition.
