Learning at PPSCVS

Our school provides quality education as much as balancing equity with excellence which is the prime objective of CBSE. To achieve this, quality parameters are applied in appropriate areas such as Curriculum design and Content, teacher support system through empowerment, student support and guidance, diverse learning resources, and infrastructure.

At our school, the accent is on developing the overall persona of each child. We learn best when our minds, bodies, hearts, and souls are deeply involved in the process of learning and learning becomes a joyful activity. Hence there is a special emphasis on hands-on, activity-based, whole-body learning with understanding. We endeavor to make the entire process of education a happy experience.

We are affiliated with the CBSE, with classes from Nursery to XII. Language options in addition to English and Hindi include Gujarati from Class 1 onwards. Science and Commerce streams are offered at the senior secondary level.

We have a system of continuous assessment that indicates the progress constantly without putting any particular pressure on the examination of the child.

Reports are sent to parents from time to time in a year as our academic year is divided into two terms. These reports not only reflect the academic performance of a child but also his/her achievements in sports as well as Co-curricular activities.

In the Senior School, the curriculum includes programs to develop academic skills i.e., EffectiveCommunication Skills through Debates, Extempore Speaking And Elocutions, Drama, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Arts and Crafts, etc. The syllabus is enriched by teacher-designed worksheets and Subject Integrated Projects. Emphasis is placed on learning by asking questions, and Problem Solving through application-based strategy. This is reinforced through curriculum-related trips, workshops, seminars, and films. Inquiry and the use of resources such as ICT complement all the strategies we use to help students become life-long learners.
